We are delighted to announce that SSX Group has been awarded another significant government contract, further cementing our reputation as a trusted leader in the security industry. Through a competitive open tender process, SSX Group has been selected to provide “Provision of Physical Security Services” for Fire Rescue Victoria, a critical agency responsible for fire and rescue services throughout Victoria.

This prestigious contract encompasses a range of security services aimed at ensuring the safety and protection of various Fire Rescue Victoria facilities, as well as efficient alarm response. SSX Group’s success in securing this contract can be attributed to our unwavering commitment to excellence and our proven expertise in delivering comprehensive security solutions.

SSX Group has deployed experienced and trained security personnel, stationed at multiple Fire Rescue Victoria sites, ensuring 24/7 security coverage. Their responsibilities include monitoring access points, managing security equipment, conducting thorough security checks, and responding promptly to any security-related activities.

In addition to static security services, mobile security patrols are deployed across various sites. These patrols serve as a proactive deterrent against potential threats and guarantee rapid responses to alarm activations, bolstering the overall security posture of Fire Rescue Victoria’s critical infrastructure.

It’s been a busy start to 2023 with SSX being awarded and transitioning in commercial cleaning services across all Sheen Panel Service locations, and a large government jurisdiction in Victoria.  Comprising of over 40 locations, both contracts were successfully transitioned in February 2023, despite notice periods from the award notifications to implementation ranging between just 2 – 4 weeks.

 

When asked what challenges exist in the current property service environment, General Manager – Facility Management, Ben Quick, responded: “Resourcing remains a constant challenge.  However, we continue to access our vast network and work closely with our clients and stakeholders to ensure a team lead approach to successful and sustainable outcomes.”

SSX Group and North East Security Services have both been awarded a contract to provide security services to nominated Rural City of Wangaratta Council properties to ensure they’re protected, safe and secure.  Part A of the contract, valued at $123,348, was awarded to North East Security Services and Part B, valued at $648,453, was awarded to SSX Group.  The terms of the contracts will be for a period of three years, with the option to two one year extensions.
